We are a leading industrial supplier for punching and forming parts, and assemblies. The family-owned company at Etzgen in Switzerland, close to the border with Germany, today employs about 180 people. As a manufacturer of customised metal components and as a specialist in toolmaking and mould making, we supply a very broad range of customers, including some very well known ones, drawn from a wide variety of industries.
To cope with future requirements as well as current growth, we are looking for a maintenance technician
Industrial mechanic/maintenance mechanic (m/f)
Your challenge
- You will independently carry out service and maintenance work on all plants in the production area according to the maintenance schedule or according to specifications, and rectify faults on the production systems.
- As necessary, you will coordinate and support external service providers.
- The planning and commissioning of new machines, supply networks and conveyor systems are also part of your duties as is management of the spare parts store.
- You will fabricate equipment such as fixtures and clamping equipment.
Your strengths
- You have basic technical training (automation technician, multi-skilled mechanic, mechatronics technician, agricultural machinery mechanic).
- We require good knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics as well as experience in milling, turning and welding.
- You have several years of vocational experience in a similar role in the industrial environment.
- You work in a structured, reliable manner and are used to working independently.
- Forklift truck licence is an advantage.
