Precision-based toolmaking: Our quality management

We want to inspire our customers with perfect solutions and fantastic products. Naturally this also applies to our product quality. Consequently, great emphasis is placed on quality management in our company.

Standardised processes

As an internationally recognised automotive supplier, we use standardised processes and tools in our quality management. From FMEA to quality planning through to the processing of deviations by use of 8D Reports and analysis tools, we can thus safeguard our integrated processes.

A CAQ software package makes it easier for us to handle the processes and control their flows. In this way we can implement topics derived from FMEA, test planning, test instructions, measurement planning and complaint processing in a consistent integrated manner.

Using the software Q-DAS, we can record the measured data directly in the system. This then automatically evaluates statistics and process capabilities. Sampling takes place based on VDA (German Association of the Automotive Industry) and AIG standards.

Sophisticated measurement technology

Our metrology team benefits from excellent measuring equipment.

Zeiss Accura measuring machine tactile 3D measurements

Tactile measurement of all common 3D geometries using a tactile measuring machine with a tolerance accuracy of up to 1.6 µm. Supports the latest ISO GPS standards. Data output in several formats such as DFQ, PDF, text file, 3D-set, colour target-actual comparisons with tolerance specifications of 3D-models.

Werth measuring machine, optical and tactile 3D measurements

Optical 3D measurement with direct light mode or transmitted light mode and supplementary or independent tactile measurement result in accuracies of up to 4 µm. Supports the ISO GPS standards. Optics-based measuring is fast when compared to tactile measuring. Areas not visible to the optical system are supplemented with tactile measurements. Data output in several formats such as DFQ, PDF, text file, 3D-set, colour target-actual comparisons with tolerance specifications per image file.

3D Zeiss Comet light strip sensor

Portable rugged 3D scanner for optical scanning of all externally recognisable geometries or surfaces with an accuracy of up to 16 µm. Supports the latest ISO GPS standards. Perfect 3D models with a precise target-actual comparison enable optimum, time-saving reverse engineering for new tools, tool compensations and also components. The software is compatible with our Accura, which enables fast data exchange, mass calibration and data feedback. Data output in several formats such as DFQ, PDF, text file, 3D-set, colour target-actual comparisons with tolerance specifications of 3D-models.

Contour measuring system 2D contour measurements

Industrial production measuring technology demands fast, simple and yet highly accurate measuring of workpieces.

The contour measuring system for two-dimensional, tactile contour measurement is characterised by high measuring and positioning speed and is accurate to 2 µm. The contour measuring system can be used, for example, to measure and evaluate radii, distances and angles much faster than with a 3D measuring machine. Measurements can be performed in hard-to-reach areas.

The data can be output as a text, image or DFQ file.

Material testing machine for mechanical testing

The material testing machine allows us to perform mechanical material tests with tensile and compressive forces up to 20 KN.
